Mobisol’s proprietary solar home system (SHS) is capable of providing enough power for lighting, mobile charging, radios, televisions, and even refrigerators, and can be sold for monthly installments as low as $10 per month. 1. Position: Head of Logistics.

POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Head of Logistics is primarily responsible for managing the logistics and inventory within Mobisol Rwanda as well as coordinating international shipments.

Coordinate and monitor international shipments (i.e. containers, airfreights, etc.) from China, the HQ or other Country Office (CO)

POSITION OBJECTIVE
The main task is to manage the Customer FINANCE Department. The candidate will report to the Managing Director of Mobisol Rwanda and will the main contact person for the microfinance specialist at Mobisol headquarters in Berlin.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
General responsibilities:
Oversee and take responsibility for all day-to-day operations, including credit assessment and approval, loan monitoring, management of overdue and defaulted loans, etc.
Ensure timely processing of incoming loan applications, on-going loan monitoring and immediate handling of customers in late repayment and default
Coordinate and manage all Customer FINANCE staff members in the national headquarters and all regional representative offices

High level of familiarity with typical income, expenditure and cash flow patterns of rural and semi-urban households and micro-enterprises in different Rwandan regions, including farmers, herders, business owners and employees

The Administration and HR Officer provides overall support to the Head of Human resources in all HR and Administration related functions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB:
Provide supervision to the receptionist, office assistants and the cleaners and other support staff.
Oversees HR policies and procedures for office, monitoring staff compliance with same. Annually review/revise policies and procedure\’s manual to ensure compliance.
Keep abreast of any changes in local laws and regulations having an impact on HR policy and incorporate such changes into the personnel manual as may be required.

Mobisol Market Hubs (MH) is local service centre focusing on sales and handing over systems to the customers. Each MH consists of a MH Operator (running the place), some Sales Agents (doing the sales) and some Technicians (installing and maintaining the systems). The MHs and their teams are strategically located and assigned to the Regional Hub. The MH teams are coordinated by the so-called MH Monitoring team in the Regional Hub. The Accountant is responsible for the maintenance of accounts, records and financial reporting.

The Accountant’s primary duty is to process financial documents for areas such as the general accounting ledgers, payrolls, accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc. and to assist with other accounting functions as assigned.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:

Prepare accounting entries in the Mobisol’s accounting system e-conomics and month-end reconciliations relating to the MTN MobileMoney accounts (i.e. Collection, Disbursement, Bank, Petty Cash)
Initiate MobileMoney payments
Initiate payment of all incoming invoices
Write and send outgoing invoices
Reviews general ledger accounts for accuracy
Initiate employees’ monthly payrolls
Initiate payment to social security and for statutory deductions
Initiate monthly payrolls for Marketing Agents (MA) as well as Installation and Maintenance Technicians
Gather all documentation necessary for the monthly payrolls
Crosscheck the performance of each MA and technician against the data
in the Database, MA Record Sheet and Sales Sheet on Sky drive for MAs
in the Database and Customer Satisfaction Sheet for Installation Technicians
in the Database and Maintenance Report for Maintenance Technicians
Based on this information, evaluate the performance and calculate his/her commission
In case of defaulted customers, the commission that a Marketing Agent received for the sale should be deducted. This can be done in reducing the amount of the next payout of commissions. The Accountant needs to communicate the reduction to the Marketing Agent. This shall serve as a warning that they should advise their potential customers thoroughly about the Mobisol products and services.
Manage travel and communication expenses of staff

Every expenditure needs to be approved by the concerned Head of Department before cash can be issued to staff

Assist the Project Coordinator, or the German Headquarters, with annual financial reporting and with annual year-end closeout and preparation of documentation for annual audits
Deliver invoices and income/expenditure overviews for project reports

The Procurement Officer is primarily responsible for managing the Procurement and supply chain system within Mobisol Rwanda.

General responsibilities include:

Develop terms of reference for supply of goods and service.
Make and implement procurement plans of Mobisol Rwanda.
Responsible for buyer activity within the module
Process orders for the approved suppliers
Maintain and update the supplier data base in the system and service code creation
Reconcile the orders against receipts and make a follow up of any discrepancy
Generate the necessary reports from the system
Handle the period end activity in the module

Carryout month end procedures for the procurement chain.
