American actor Steven Seagal appointed for Russian diplomacy

The announcement was made this Saturday, August 4th on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to Russian diplomacy, Steven Seagal will perform a function similar to that of UN Goodwill Ambassador. He will be in charge of the humanitarian ties between Russia and the United States. An unpaid mission that also includes cooperation in the field of culture and art.
Born in the state of Michigan, Steven Seagal was a star of action movies. In Wild Trap, his biggest hit in 1992, he shared the show with Tommy Lee Jones.
In autumn 2016, Vladimir Putin personally handed him his Russian passport. Both men are the same age and share the taste of martial arts. Steven Seagal is an aikido master.
Since then, the 66-year-old actor has become a familiar face of the Russians. Last year, he appeared in a hat and fur coat in an advertisement for a famous telephone operator.
